Bob Kushell is an award-winning television writer and producer. His credits include THE SIMPSONS, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN, GROUNDED FOR LIFE, MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE, SAMANTHA WHO?, AMERICAN DAD! and THE MUPPETS. Bob created the BBC dark comedy WAY TO GO, which ran in the UK to critical acclaim. His 5-minute talkshow ANYTIME WITH BOB KUSHELL streamed for two seasons on Crackle. He's currently consulting and developing movie and streaming media projects for the United States and international markets.

Bob's work has twice been nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards, for 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN. He won a Golden Globe for 3RD ROCK and a Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Award as Co-Creator of THE MUPPETS.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Bob attended the Pacoima Theatre Arts Magnet and El Camino Real High School. As a teenager, he founded UPSTAGE COMEDY, Los Angeles' youngest sketch and improv comedy troupe, which ran for three

highly reviewed seasons before he left to study Theatre at UC Irvine.  Bob's professional writing career started while he was still enrolled in college, and immediately after graduation landed his first big gig on HBO's DREAM ON. He hasn't stopped since.

Bob and his wife live in Los Angeles.
